Before you come
Reach out by call, text, or message and we will share the current time and place — we gather at locations across Central Florida. Letting us know you are coming means a friendly face will be watching for you.
Your first visit
Walking into a new church can feel intimidating. It should not. CBA Orlando is an independent Brazilian community of the Adventist faith in Orlando, and we want your first visit to feel less like a test and more like being welcomed to a family table. Here is exactly what to expect, so you can come relaxed.
You will never be put on the spot or asked to do anything you are not ready for. Here is the simple shape of a first visit.

A greeter will welcome you at the door, help you get your bearings, and walk your family to the right place. Parking is free, and there is no dress code — come as you are.
You can expect singing, prayer, reading from the Bible, and a message. Sit wherever is comfortable, stand or sing only if you want to, and simply observe if you prefer. No one will single you out.
Children are a joy here, not an interruption. There are age-appropriate classes during Sabbath School, and kids are welcome in the worship service too. Tell a greeter you are visiting with children.
Many Sabbaths we share a meal together — you are welcome to stay, and there is nothing to bring. If you would like prayer or just someone to talk with, a real person is glad to listen, without any pressure.
No question is too small. Here are honest answers to what most first-time visitors want to know.
Our main gathering is the Sabbath (Saturday), with Sabbath School and worship, and we also meet midweek. Because we gather at changing locations, reach out and we will share the current time and place so you can plan a relaxed visit.
There is no dress code and no one is checking. You will see everything from dress clothes to jeans. Wear what feels comfortable and respectful to you — please never let clothing keep you home.
No. You do not need to be a member, be Adventist, or be sure what you believe. CBA Orlando welcomes anyone, from any background, with respect and without pressure to convert or join.
Our community is Brazilian, so most of what you will hear is in Portuguese. If you are more comfortable in English or Spanish, let someone at the welcome area know and we will gladly help you follow along.
No. You will not be asked to stand, speak, give, or sign anything. An offering may be received during the service, but guests are never expected to give — come simply to observe and rest.
Absolutely. Families and children are welcome and cared for. There are classes for children during Sabbath School, and if your little one gets restless in the service, no one will mind.
The easiest first step is simply to let us know you are coming. Call, text, or send a message, and we will make sure you know exactly where and when to join us, and that someone is ready to welcome you.
Details such as times and locations may change while we settle into a regular rhythm. Reach out before you come and we will confirm everything for your visit.
