What this organization is
A nonprofit that builds ministries, not an audience.
CBA Orlando is a Florida nonprofit corporation and a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. We design, build, translate, host, and maintain ministry programs — then give them away. Nothing we operate is sold, gated behind a login, or monetized with advertising. The organization exists so that the ministries can be free, and so that the people running them are accountable to more than their own good intentions.

Fifteen ministries, four kinds of need.
Each ministry answers a different question a person is actually asking — from “I have five minutes and I am falling apart” to “my family has nothing to eat this week.” Every one of them is free.

Why it matters here
Central Florida is a place people arrive alone.
Metro Orlando is one of the fastest-growing immigrant destinations in the United States. People arrive for work and find the support network they left behind cannot be replaced by a job. Families arrive without extended family; parents work opposite shifts; teenagers become their household's translator; and nobody has a Tuesday-night person to call. Our ministries are built specifically against that isolation.

How we operate
Free to receive. Paid for by people who give.
- Free by policyNo fees, no paywalls, no advertising, and no selling or renting of anyone's personal data — for any ministry we run.
- Trilingual by designPortuguese, English, and Spanish are produced together, not translated as an afterthought. Language is not allowed to be a barrier to help.
- Volunteer-ledMinistry leaders serve without compensation from the organization. Donations fund the work, not salaries for the people asking for donations.
- AccountableWritten governance, a child-protection standard, and a stated conflict-of-interest standard, published for anyone to check.
Comunidade Brasileira da IASD, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; please consult your tax advisor. A receipt is issued for every gift.

Four steps, no bureaucracy theater.
Volunteers run almost everything here. If you have a skill, a truck, a second language, or a free Saturday, there is real work waiting.
Step 01Tell us what you can do
A message with your skills, your language, and your realistic availability.
Step 02A short conversation
A real person calls or meets you. We are matching you to work you will actually enjoy, not filling a slot.
Step 03Screening where required
Anyone who will serve with children or teens must clear a background check before their first contact with a minor. This is being formalized now and there is no exception to it.
Step 04Start small
Your first assignment is deliberately small. Both of us should be sure this fits before anyone commits further.
