Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

Who this covers

This policy applies to cbaorlando.org and to the ministry websites operated by Comunidade Brasileira da IASD, Inc., doing business as CBA Orlando, a Florida nonprofit corporation and registered 501(c)(3) public charity.

What we collect

Only what you give us: your name and contact details when you write to us, volunteer, or request help; and the information required to process a donation, which is handled by our payment processor and not stored by us. Our sites use basic, privacy-respecting traffic analytics that do not build advertising profiles of visitors.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or publish your personal information. We do not share donor lists. We do not run advertising networks or behavioral ad tracking on any site we operate. We do not require an account to read anything we publish.

People who ask for help

Requests for food, care, or pastoral support are treated as confidential. We do not ask about immigration status, we do not record it, and we do not share the identity of anyone who receives assistance with any third party except where the law requires it — most significantly, mandatory reporting of suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult.

Children

Our sites are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Participation of minors in any in-person program requires a parent or guardian.

Donations

Payments are processed by a third-party provider under its own security standards; we receive the information needed to issue a receipt and maintain required charitable records. We retain donation records for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Write to info@cbaorlando.org and a person will handle it — there is no form to fight with.
