Moving to a new country is hard when the language is not yet your own. CBA Orlando offers free English classes for the Brazilian and Hispanic community of Central Florida — practical, everyday English taught by people who care about you. In every class we also open the Bible together, so you grow in a new language and in faith at the same time.
Why we teach English
A real help, and an open door.
English opens doors — to work, to school, to confidence, to belonging. We teach it because we love our neighbors and want to help them thrive. And because the Bible is the best story ever told, we read a little of it together each time, so learning English and meeting Jesus happen side by side.
- Free, for the whole community — you do not have to be a member or a Christian to come.
- Everyday, practical English: work, school, doctor visits, paperwork, daily life.
- A short, optional Bible reading each class — openly offered, never forced.
- Taught in a warm, patient, judgment-free room where every level is welcome.
How a class works
English first, the Word alongside.
Each gathering is simple and unhurried. You come as you are, practice real English, and share a short passage of Scripture together — at a pace anyone can follow.
Reading and writing
Build vocabulary, reading, and writing step by step, with patient help and materials you can take home.
An open Bible
Each class we read a short, simple passage together in easy English. It doubles as a reading lesson and a gentle introduction to Jesus — questions always welcome, pressure never.
All levels
Beginner to intermediate, all in one caring community. Come even if you know only a few words — you belong here.
