Support the work

Fund the ministries that never send a bill.

Everything CBA Orlando operates is free to the person receiving it. That is only possible because other people pay for it. Give once, or give monthly — monthly is what lets us plan.

Where your gift goes

Four categories, no mystery.

Materials and translation

Study guides, printed workbooks, and professional Portuguese, English, and Spanish translation so the same quality reaches all three languages.

Infrastructure

Domains, hosting, email, and the technical maintenance that keeps fifteen free ministries online and fast at 3 a.m.

Gatherings

Marriage retreats, men's and women's meetings, teen and kids' programming, and the space and food those require.

Other ways to give

Not everything useful is a check.

  • Recurring giftA monthly gift of any size is the single most useful thing to this organization — it converts hope into a budget.
  • In-kind donationsGroceries, new blankets, school supplies, and gift cards are used immediately.
  • Professional servicesTranslation, accounting, legal, design, video, and trades work donated by professionals stretches every dollar further than the dollar would.
  • Employer matchingMany Central Florida employers match charitable gifts. If yours does, it doubles your gift at no additional cost.

The formalities

What you should know before giving.

  • Comunidade Brasileira da IASD, Inc., doing business as CBA Orlando, is a Florida not-for-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3). Our EIN is 20-5148631 and our Florida document number is N06000006962 — you can verify both independently before giving us anything.
  • Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We do not give tax advice — please consult your own advisor.
  • A written receipt is issued for every gift, and for any single gift of $250 or more we provide the written acknowledgment the IRS requires.
  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless we tell you so in writing at the time of the gift.
  • We never sell, rent, or trade donor information. Ever.
  • Gifts are used where they are most needed unless you designate a purpose we operate; if we cannot honor a designation, we will contact you rather than quietly reassign it.
